Remove old printer files

My friend bought a laptop, was given a Epson Stylus 830 to start him off.
He does not remember being given anysoftware, he just plugged it in.
He seldom used it but when he did it did not print well.
He bought a new Epson SX480 (I think he said 480), and has installed it o.k.
He is unable to uninstall the old Stylus 830.
It does not show in the All Programs list.
Revo uninstaller does not find it.
It is in "C: Program Files", and "Control Panel - Printers"
Any idea how he can get rid of this Stylus 830 please?

control panel, uninstall, and then select the software that your printer uses

If you confident in editing the Registry do the following -

Start - Run - type "regedit" - navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG - system - printers - right click on the printer you want to delete - delete

If it is not listed in the Uninstall or change program your OS could be using the default drivers. Go to control panel/printers right click on the Epsom stylus 830 and select delete.
