Will the free AVG package clear this virus OK

It appears to have linked itself with a recent firefox update!

Cheers all.

If AVG Anti-Virus does not shift it,Try AVG Anti-Spyware,One of the two should shift it.

I'll post a resolved note when sorted....

I had this one today and it was the AVG free one which warned me about it.It also dealt with it without me doing anything by deleting it.It then declared me clean.

am I reading this right; is there a worm (or thingi)attached to a browser update?

nice one........

Same as Bruno...!

  p;3 20:14 10 Mar 2007

so how did you get rid of it and ensure you ARE rid of it?

  bruno 20:26 10 Mar 2007

I let AVG handle it and it said clean. It came back a second time and I deleted it manually in AVG and then did a full scan to make sure it had gone.I also used Spybot,Ccleaner and A squared. They all came up clean. It came in a Firefox update so I will look on their site to see if it is mentioned.Google did not come up with anything.
