Hi I have BT Broadband its rubbish well since have outlook express a lot of my emails I have made folders on Outlook as Im closing my account with BT Broadband hopefully soon I need to know how I can transfer all folders in Outlook to my documents or my storage hard drive can anyone help me thank you davie boy
First you need to go into Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/View and select 'show hidden files and folders'. You can find your outlook folder now in C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.All your emails will be there for you to transfer where you like
davie boy you gotta laugh mate. Maybe his an English teacher, is that red ink I see.
Still using outlook, take a look at thunderbird, this should let you transfer setting when you install it. I then copy the entire file from one computer to another and it transfers e-mail accounts along with all the e-mails. Full easy to follow instructions on their site.
Also it is easy to have it remove spam, I switched to this from outlook 2000.
