I am hoping that someone will be able to give me some information regarding remote desktop on Windows and using Dyndns. I have a dynamic Ip address which changes after a period of time. Is it possible to use a dynamic Ip and Dyndns for remote desktop, without having to update dyndns everytime the IP changes. Or, will I need to buy a static IP?

Thanks in advance for any advice given.

Yes, you can do it without buying a static IP. Take a look on this dynamic DNS creation click here , 2 easy methods to notify DDNS server on IP change click here and remote desktop connection from Internet click here articles, hope able to help you.
