Remote Access on my LAN

  Jsimbaz 13:10 09 May 2005

I have just put a server onto my LAN, it's running Windows Server 2003 and all other PCs are running XP Pro. I am going to have the server on 24-7 and I will not have a monitor k/board or mouse connected to it. How can i Administer the server remotely from one of the XP machines?

Thanks in advance,

...VNC is a great tool for remotely controlling a server. And its free!

You might also want to look at some tools from sysinternals:

which are good for executing programs, killing processes, listing processes, shutting down/restarting etc. all remotely and all from a command line and you can use on any pc on your network!
