Registry Mechanic v Registry Fix

Praps someone can help me with this one;
I ran the free version of Registry Mechanic, it said that I had numerous problems that it would fix if I bought it, so I bought it, ran it, now it tells me that my PC is trouble free. Now when I run the free version of Registry Fix, it tells me that I have 98 problems that it will fix if I buy it....? Am I being had ?

Alot of the stuff it detects is mainly Cache items and minor broken shortcuts etc. All these things could be easily deleted via windows or by the many freeware applications avalable. CCleaner for instance.

I believe the trialware programs are designed to create paranoia and to persuade us into buying the full products.

will try ccleaner (I assume that is crap cleaner?) and see what that comes up with. Do you have the address?
