I'm thinking of buying and downloading "Registry Mechanic" Has anybody out there used this software, and is it safe to use and does it really do what it claims to do.

Registry Mechanic 4.0 was included in the C.D. with the December issue of PC Advisor. Issue 125
You can test it for free if you can pick up the issue.

Try RegScrubXP, it's free and I've found it safe to use.

I've also bought Registry Fix and another safe to use program.

Hi poncho
I have used registry mechanic for over a year now and i`ve never had a problem with it. I now have upgraded to version 5.1. I have found it very easy to use.
Ps there are some good free registry cleaners that you should try. Just personal preferance wether you pay for them or not.
hope this helps.
