Registry faults warning message

I keep getting popups every couple of minutes warning of critical errors in my registry and telling me to download registry cleaners. how do I stop these?

Download ewido (it is free for 30 days) from click here , run it and delte all it finds. You should also have Windows defender (also free) from click here

Just an addition to Gandalf's post. Ewido is still free after 30 days, but you will need to update daily by manual checks and downloads.

sounds very much like lack of firewall of which there are many listed on the forums, I use ZA myself with AGV both do a free one

Are the pop-ups like this click here - if so disable Windows Messenger Service.
