regedit wont allow

i am trying to remove a key from the registry but it says administrator has blocked access, any one have any ideas?

be careful.

in regedit highlight the item you wish to delete then click "edit/permissions" then tick "allow" under the full control permissions for admins box.

You must have an Adimistrator Account to do what you want to do.

is this your computer?are you the only user?

click start/control panel/user accounts

click your account and see if you are admin or limited user.

it just lists
username administrtor > group administrators
+ username guest > group guest + username (me) > group administrator.
hope that makes sense
