Red Screen While Playing Games After a GPU&CPU Upgrade.

Recently Iv'e upgraded to a Sapphire R7 250x and an FX 6300. Since the upgrade, my PC has been far from stable. Iv'e been getting a pure red screen while playing games, meaning I have to restart my system. In addition to that, Iv'e been getting 'NTFS-Filesystem' blue screens.

My GPU temperature does not exceed 55 degrees Celsius, and everything's connected up properly. (Using a 6pin splitter.) Ive tested the HDD and RAM, using windows HDD built-in tester and Memtest86.

I think the culprit is my cheap generic PSU at 500W, but I'm not sure - hence me asking here. Do you think the PSU is causing these issues?
