Popup box - "running out of space on recovery D - free up space by deleting old/unnecessary files". When I click & agree there is nothing shown to delete. The recovery disk D is a 6GB partition and shows as almost full. PC is HP6027 with Vista Premium

The recovery disk D partition is what it says, in the event that your computer requires a repair or reset to factory settings, access to these files are required usually booting with a recovery disk. This partition is usually relatively small and in your case just less than 6gig. As a result your pc flags it as being full and asks you to free up space. Best to leave this alone andd ignore the disk warnings
