Recording music off youtube

  VNAM75 19:14 10 Jan 2009

I used mymp3 to record some music off youtube and converted them to mp3 files. The sound quality is quite good and plays fine on the pc. But when I used nero to burn them on to a cdr, some tracks go blank/mute about half way through the song, but a few play fine all the way through. I use the "what you hear" option to record.

What could be the problem?

I do the same using Audacity click here and never have any problems, you could give it a try. Only other thing I can think of is a problem while burning, try CDBurnerXP (works with Vista as well). click here

if you have soundblaster soundcard use the software suppied to record and burn.

The method I have used is to use the add-on for Firefox 'Download helper' and then a programme called 'Super' to convert the .flv file to wma or mps.

Then I can just make audio cds. But I haven't done this for ages.

click here will download the soundtrack as MP3. Used it quite a bit and it works great.

Too late , I see this thread has already been ticked.

Thanks Snec, that looks good

The problem was with the burning and was sorted by CDBurnerXp recommended by MAJ above.
