Good evening all,
I`ve just got back from a mates house and he wants to record to disc the contents of his C drive with the exception of Win XP Home which is not a valid copy.
Can this be done by right clicking every file except Win XP and `Send to DVD-RW`? My own view is that this is a very long way to go about it and why doesnt he just install his new copy of XP over the existing one? Can anyone come up with a solution for this. Ta v m in advance

Installing over the top might work but could end up leaving bugs.

I think he might be better off getting an ext usb hd and use the try before buy Acronis. This may also persuade him to purchase Acronis. I woukd have thought that it would take forever and a day to copy onto DVD even if this way of re-installing a geuine copy of XP is feasable
