Recommended Router For Tiscali

  woobie1 13:11 04 Feb 2008

Hi, i am a tiscali customer and would like to get a wireless router compatible with both tiscali and vista and ideally about a 200m range.

I was looking at the BELKIN F5D7632UK4A click here#

but have heard alot of people have had trouble with it. Can anyone recommend a router to match my needs.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Any router will match the above requirements - pick one that matches your chosen wifi protocol, be that 11g, Draft-n or whatever. The OS is irrelevant - as it is for any hardware that does not install.

Thanks but what do you mean by wifi protocol? Sorry im new to all this.

I named a couple of the most common standards. You need to make a call about which one you want to adopt, usually based on what existing network adapters support. click here

By the way; almost all of the complaints about Belkins seem to originate from people who have no clue about networks, which may or may not be coincidental, but I strongly suspect that there is a correlation. My home network has always been run by Belkin routers (the current model is two years old).
