My Mum friends (elderly couple) like doing Crosswords and in the past used MS Works Suite Encarta for finding the crossword answers for things.

Now the Works Suite is a bit dated, they mentioned a Hutchincene or Britania one but have never seen it just someone else mentioned it.

Could anyone recomend a Dedicated Encylopedia that could run on XP and also wouldn't conflict with Works Suite 2004 as they have recently bought that.

Seems to me there a lots of these. But who's is best puzzles me.

but I was looking for a popular Encylopedia to buy on CD in uk. It also needs to be one that doesn't have to connect to the web as they do not have or intend to have internet access.

So Far Microsoft Encarta the dedicated Premium seems best.
