Hi after tying Mandrake 10.1 dual booting with XP, I have decided to reclaim the Space for XP NTFS. Can anyone tell me how to go about it.

Thank You.

If you want to increase the size of the partition with XP in, by using the space vacated by Linux, then a program such as Partition Magic will do this. Alternatively you can partition and format the unused space to use it as a separate drive and that can be done by Windows XP (right click "My Computer", select Manage, then Disk Management).

You won't be able to recover the space into your existing XP installation without third-party software. If you have Norton Ghost, or a similar program to create an "image" file of your hard drive, you could remove all partitions from the drive and then restore the image file into the unpartitioned space on the drive, which would give you back the full size of the drive.

You wish to uninstall Linux and boot straight to XP?

Thanks all I did the fdisk /mbr and used the disk management in XP to create another partition
