My computer reboots while I am working.
System is windows 98
I have run SFC and have run a defrag. Memory should not be a problem with 128 RAM and 20GB HD as it reboots on simple operations like Windows Explorer without any other running programmes. I did have a very slow system recently but this is now OK. Is it normal for windows to slow down a lot if the computer is left on overnight?

Could be an overheat prob.

1. I do not think it is a heating problem. It can happen shortly after startup and the machine has been cleaned and the fan is ok.

2. I have run CWShredder after within a span of 20minutes trying to type new mail ( create Mail) offline there were three reboots.
After running shredder I went to the site to block hole and there was an immediate reboot when I hit block hole
