Is it possible to read .Prn files. I know that there is a program called ghostscript that I have tried but have not been able to get it to work (may knowledge of command prompt at fault not the program). So if anyone can give tell me what to type in ghostscrpt or know of a simpler program I would be very grateful.

Only way I know of is to copy it to the printer it was intended for.

Open a DOS box and enter this command:

copy filename.prn lpt1:/b

What you do in the case of a printer connected to a USB port I don't know.

I have changed the extension only, to .TXT and it opened up in notepad
