Read Recipes

Can someone suggest a read receipt program that does not require the recipient to know or respond to a request for a receipt. I have tried Microsoft's own receipt program - but that asks the recipient to send back the receipt - I've also tried msgtag but that too informs the recipient that I required a response.

Hope the above makes sense.

Many thanks.

Sorry, just read your post again. You've already tried MSGTAG!

Hi Jackcoms - yes that is where I started my search for the resources to do the task. In the free version it puts a message at the bottom of the email telling the recipient that the email is tracked.

Thanks very much for trying to help - very much appreciated.

I thought this thread was about cooking :-)

The paid for version of MSGTAG doesn't leave any messages on the recipient's PC and, unlike the free version, will send you back a read receipt for multiple addressees.

Just shows what a silly old fart I am. I had not even noticed the spelling mistake in the heading.

The program I would prefer is not to help me cook the books or to help me eat my words so I really don't need a recipe book - perhaps a good spelling book - I was terrible at spelling at skool.

Cheers to you both for your help - take care.
