I have an ongoing issue with regards the accessing of https sites, e.g bank, Amazon, our business card gateway, eBay, backend of our website etc.
It all started when changing from a private ISP provider O2 to BT business broadband. We are running 3 PCs to of which are plugged directly into the router with the otherone running wireless. 2 PCs are running XP and the other Windows 7 64bit. We are using Explorer 7 8 and 9 and one PC doubled up using Firefox. We have tried resetting the SSL but it doesnt work and the problem when it starts is across all PCs including the smart phones using the network.
The access issue is random, one day we will be fine accessing all secure sites then the following day the problems may start. It is never all sites it just seems to be on a randon 2 or 3. The thing that seems to temp fix the problem is replace the BT router with a Belkin one (log is showing 'DHCPINFORM'), but give it a day or so and we have to switch them back to fix the problem. Sometimes a router reboot works but not all the time. The engineers have tested the line remote and have been in and tested the line with no fault and in fact running at a good speed of 17-18meg. I am going round in circles with the tech team on BT business?
