RAM, any difference between amd and intel for DDR2

  archiesdaddy 10:52 28 Jul 2007

I am looking at buying some more ram for my system, i have found some at a very good and cheap price, but the seller states that they will only run with an amd cpu and not with an intel! i've never heard this before, so can some one please help!

I have never heard of that before, but I will not buy cheap memory, it can be more trouble than it is worth.
I always use Crucial, I just use their selector and they guarantee it will work or they will replace it.
I have seen that certain RAM is not compatible with some motherboards but never not compatible with a processor.
