RAM Advice

A friend has 2 memory slots on his motherboard. One has a 128mb stick. he wants to know can he put 256mb in the other one or would it causes problems. His motherboard is a couple of years but he's not too sure of it's specifications. Can probably find out more info if needed.

as long as you are using the same type memory, you shouldn't have any problems, 'though I would recommend pitting the 256mb module in dimm slot 1, and the 128 in 2.

" pitting ", must be my ex-miner past.

The manual that came with the motherboard will indicate which memory configurations are acceptble.

Not clever??
