I have been reading an article abour RAID. In which it fits 2 hard drives and the mother board has a 925 chipset.
This allows both drives to be used at the same time and thus speeds up the data transfer.

Question 1. are both drives conected to the mother board seperately or with a ribon?
2. are both drives identified by their own drive letter?
3. what happens if one drive fails? will the other operate as normal or will data be lost?
Thanks for any info.
