Is it better to have all your programmes as s/cuts on your d/top or on the quicklaunch bar at the btm.
Thanks Joe

I don't have all of them, but I have a few that I use quite often on the desktop and ones that I use daily in the QuickLaunch bar.... The rest are only listed in the "All Programs" option.

I put what I use on bar at bottom, and on start button by right click drag to Start button and let go

I put the ones I might want at any time (eg - calculator, character map, browser & email) on the quick launch bar - other frequent use items on the desktop - the rest I leave in the menus.

This way, when writing, for instance, and I need to nsert a special symbol, or do a quick calculation, they're right to hand without clearing the desktop to get to them.

So what's "best" is what works best for you.
