Question about drives and reinstalls

I have a question about a recent re-install of my windows xp.
When I got to the part where I had to create a partition - I had two drives: the largest C drive and F drive.
I created it on C drive, but my question is about the F drive.
I didn't know I had a F drive, It had a small ammont of MB in it: but what is it? I have never seen it before on my computer. The only time I have seen an F drive on my computer is when my external hard drive is connected.
Any ideas what these 4,000 odd MB are on this F drive please.

Thanks

Why don't you go into My Computer and look at what's on the F drive? If there are no useful files you can use disk management to delete the partition. For guidance on disk management click here

I do have a F drive in my computer; never noticed that before, (it was under devices and removable storage).
In my computer, F drive shows all blue - used space 0 bytes, and free space 0 bytes.

In the partitioning I did there was 4000 odd mg used.

My computer is a Mesh running windows xp.

When I was doing a re-install I did wonder what this F partion was becauce it got me confused at the time.
I thought I would find out now in case I have to do a reinstal again somethime in the future.

Thanks.

I don't suppose that your printer is plugged in and turned on is it?
