First it's nothing to do with the make of Drive you have in your computer. Now the problem usually is in the Autoexec.bat file a TSR driver that windows does not like, open Notepad then open Autoexec.bat in it, now put a rem and space before each line in the file then save the file.
This is a Example from my own Autoexec.bat file
rem @LH C:\PROGRA~1\INDEFE~1\ACHILL~1\AVBLOCK.COM
It does not matter about the @ sign just a rem and space before the syntax if it make the Computer start OK, you can re-edit the Autoexec.bat by removing the rem and space one line at a time and restart your computer when it starts loading in safe mode you will know to put the rem back before that line of syntax
