I have a MSI graphic card NVIDIA Geforce4 MX440 with TV Out.
When i connect the tc out to my Television, the picture is terrible,,,,nothing like that on the monitor. By that i meant the picture isnt clear and crisp.I wouldnt want to work on the TV with that poor quality output. Just wonder if that is normal or have i not done something correct.

os Windows XP Pro SP2 AMD 2800+

The TV-out on most gfx cards isnt supposed to match the quality of a monitor... it's mainly used for watching movies on tv using your computer ..or.. playing big-screen games...

There are a few tweaks you could do to improve the quality of the picture like fiddle with colour/contrast/font-size and resolution, but it'll never be as good as a monitor...

What type of connection is being used - composite, S-Video etc?
