you did plug everything in with the PC switched off and Unplugged?The old PSU blowing may have damaged your hard drive hence the repair, let it complete and hope the drive is not so severely damage it will not boot.
no it should not have done that, but if it as you should leave it running as you may foul up the operating system
it seems to have fixed itself after 40 minutesthanks for the help :Don to the next subject....GPU fail
