PSU and motherboard.

Hello,its my first post to this forum ,but i am reading it every day.Well sorry for my bad english but i am greek ! So,recently my PSU capacitors broke and cause i couldnt replaces (1000 at 240) i decided and bought another one,i just rreplaced it but my pc isnt working.May it be motherboards problem from the "voltage shoot" it has taken?Where should i measure voltages on the motherboard if anyone knows?Thanks ,Raf

Have you tried to repair the psu? very dangerous and rarely successful. Or have you fitted a new psu? it is quite rare for a psu failure to damage the mobo.

i tried to fix it.but i couldnt find capacitor to replace the broken one.i fitted a new one.
