PS/Psyme Malware?

On my brother-in-law's computer AVG has detected PS/Psyme which it cannot remove. Presumably this is malware? There's very little information on Google about this. Has anyone on this forum any experience of this infection & if so, how to remove it? Would Spybot S&D do the trick?

We ran the various Antispyware programs as suggested but none found this Trojan other than AVG which found it every time it did a scan. After further investigation we realised it was stored in the Browsing history so we deleted everything in Browsing History in Internet Options, which solved the problem. We can’t understand why it was only AVG that detected it.
Many thanks for all you advice it was a great help.
