PS2 Mouse not working since windows update

Updated two windows XP computers today via windows update, 2 high priority plus couple hardware updates and on both computers PS2 mouse stopped working, both work fine with USB mouse, I no system restore will proberly fix problem, but must be something wrong with one of the updates as computers diferrent makes and different programs, anyone else had this problem and is there a fix with-out restore

I don’t like to update hardware from the Microsoft update site as I find that the new drivers

update can cause many problem

Go to device manager click on Mice and Other Pointing Device

Right click on the PS2 Compatible Mouse – Properties – Click Driver Tab

and Click Roll Back Driver and see if the PS2 will now work
