Protect password at startup of winME help please

  bof:) 13:06 06 Nov 2007

Hi all a friend using windowsME has asked me if its possible to protect his PC at startup because the friends he has stopping with him appear to have bypassed his password which appears at startup.

He's asked them, to ask when they want to use the PC but it seems that they are doing on it when my friend is out.

Many thanks.

Set a password in BIOS. It is more difficult to bypass.

Install c drive in a removable bay and either turn the power off on the key lock and take the key away or just withdraw the drive & bay completely.

At start up, with come up with boot drive not found.

Suitable bays here. Icy Dock bays are good quality.

Hi Pesala and Longhouse, thank you for your help, I'll try the BIOS password first I think.

I've bookmarked the website for the removable bays, thank you.
