Projector Problems

Hi, where i work we have several projectors that have developed a bluish tinge. A tinge that covers the whole display, so any white has a slight blue to it. It started off that the red was missing.

I have changed the VGA Cable thinking it was that but to no avail.

They are cleaned often so i dont think they are overheating and i cant see how it could be the bulbs as they are nowhere near their end of life time. Funny enough it seems to be all epsons that are affected.

how was the missing red resolved?

Well in one room, I used a spare cable which corrected the colour when i changed the VGA cable, so i thought it would solve it for the rest of them. We've got one ceiling mounted one in the hall which needed its cable replacing anyway so i attached the new cable thinking the colours would be correct only to find that it didnt make a difference.

Now these are all ceiling mounted projectors with a cable that runs down the wall to a socket.
