Programmes not loading at startup.

Just recently when I start up my PC (Windows XP) several programmes that would normally start on their own and show in the running programmes toolbar at the bottom right of the screen are now not starting and I have to start them manually. That includes my anti spyware programme, firewall and gmail notifier. I am not aware of any changes that I made which could have caused this. Is there a way I can force them to start again? Thanks.

I can't see my firewall (comodo) to put a tick against, the others have now appeared on a re-boot.

Drag the icons of the programs you want to start into All Programs/Startup
