a program that will check a zip for corruption?

Im looking for a program that can check multiple zip files at once for corruption (not an antivirus program- just one to see whether the file will unzip properly/fully or not, without actually having to do so, and waste space)? or is there no such thing? -thanks for any info :)

Hi, perhaps not exactly what you asked, but a starting point?

If there isn't a program to do what you want, why not extract to a temp folder and then delete afterwards - that will prevent any wasted space.

Use Winrar the default action when double clicking on a rar or zip archive is to let you see what is in the archive without extracting it. if there is anything wrong with the archive it will tell you. you can run multiple instances of the program so you can check as many archive's as you want, just select them all & hit enter
