On attempting to read my e-mails I get the above message, the details read that "MSIMN caused an exception c0000006H in module DIRECTDB.DLL at 0167:0lef556c" followed by a lot of numerical detail re: bytes etc. I have been subjected to So big worm virus recently (and still seem to be) up to date its locked up in AVG virus vault, so I feel my problem may be connected to this, however does anyone know how I can sort things out? preferably not too complex (computers never were my strong point!!) help?

This behavior can occur if the Folders.dbx file is missing, damaged, or using the read-only attribute.

Rename the Folders.dbx file:

Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files or Folders.

In the Named box, type folders.dbx.

In the Look In box, click your primary hard disk (usually drive C), and then click Find Now.
Right-click the Folders.dbx file, and then click Rename.

Type folders.old, and then click OK.

Start Outlook Express. This creates a new Folders.dbx file automatically.
