Ive just looked at my processor speed,by right clicking my computer, and it says intel pentium 3,499 mhz.But i used to have 600 mhz,how have i lost 100 mhz?
Your question doesn't make any sense.
Sorry,i right clicked "My computer",then properties, and it says my processor speed is 499 mhz.It was at 600mhz the last time i looked.
Have you changed any BIOS settings?
Perhaps it was a 500MHz CPU in the first place...:-)Go to Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Information and click on System Information.Your CPU will be detailed in the list if you highlight System Summary.
By the way, your thread reads as an Intel Pentium 3,499MHz CPU because of the comma not having a space after it..:-)That's why the question didn't make sense.I presume it's either a Slot1 or Socket 370 processor.
