When firing up FireFox 3.5.2
I get the following message
'The procedure entrypoint 'Is desktopcmposite.dll
could not be located in the dll library user 32.dl'

Firefox then starts.
What is the significance and should I do anything asbout it?

I can't answer your question exactly, but you could probably get rid of the message by re-downloading and installing Firefox.

click here_'The_procedure_entry_point_Getdll_directoryw_could_not_be_located_in_the_dynamic_link_library_kernel32.dll'

Do a Search in Windows for the DLL then the one in FireFox may be corrupt check the date of the file. look at others you found with same or near date use this by copy and paste to Firefox Program library where Firefox exe file is
