HI All

I have tried two different DVDs playing through my DVD player i have used many apps such as windows media player, real player , jet audio when the sound does come through its all choppy the best i can desribe, sometimes when i try through real player it just wont play,

however when using cd roms to play music i have no problem at all.

My sound device is the standard packard bell with the packard bell speakers, my dvd drive is liteon using windows xp, i never had this problem before but i did format / reinstall my machine a few weeks and not tried it since any ideas?

this problem only happens when i play dvds not cd - roms.

I have just had divx removed from my machine has this caused the problem?
