I recently replaced a very noisy fan on my grpahics card. It is a Nvidia Geforce TI4600 on a Sony Vaio desktop model ref RZ221. I understand it is an older graphics card.
I now have lost the driver for my card and it is displaying in weird resolution (800 by 600), and my older setting of 1152 (by something) is no longer an option in appearance settings and I have lost my standby key when I close down computer(it is greyed out). I have tried downloading driver from Sony site but it never works when you get to final download screen. Where can I get this driver from???
I have downloaded the drivers etc. When I try to install, it all starts fine, but then says "the Nvidia set up program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Set up will now exit"
try 1 goto click here 2 download the 101.02 xp 32bit driver. 3 goto your device manager under your gaphics card manually install driver from unzipped download driver.
ps if you have not restarted your pc you will have a folder in your c: drive called nvidia you can manually install from there and not the nvidia .exe file when you manually install driver just piont install fron that folder.
