I have been having some problems with my outlook express. I can't get it to send or receive any messages, i keep getting a pop3 timed out message.Can anyone help me please.
A bit more info on your system and software wouldn't go amiss.Do you have anti-virus software set to scan emails?
i have ntl netguard running my system is a 2ghz celeron processor 80gb hard drive and 256 mb ram if that is any help
Check all settings are correct and your password is correct,maybe case sensitive.This link will help you double check all is ok.click here
Netguard only scans incoming mail, so doesn't explain your problems with sending mail; are you with NTL or Telewest? Are you sure your email server settings are correct?

From OE's Tools>Accounts is each account configured to use Ntl Broadband to send and receive e-mails from the Connection tab menu?
Robbie we have noticed you have ticked resolved,can you please post your solution as this may help others in the future.Was it just an incorrect setting ?
