Problems with general web graphics production

Haven't posted on here for a while, but I was sure the PC advisor massive could assist me with this.

I'm currently working through some assignments for college. I'm facing this question at the moment: "Identify three or more general problems in web graphics production".

Now, I'm thinking along the lines of file size and bandwidth problems. Obviously the divide between those on 56k and those on broadband, and producing graphics that will satisfy people on both connections types. i.e. people on broadband want to make use of their connection and get media such as video etc. and then people on 56k want to be able to access the same information as those on broadband.

But what are the other 'general problems'?

Any thoughts, opinions, comments, all very much appreciated.
