Problems with CD writer

Hi all

I have a Packard Bell PC on Windows XP SP2. I have just got into using Napster on my PC but I am currently having problems with my DVD/CD writer so I cannot burn the music to CD.

The problem is that for some reason only some programs will recognise the drive. And only some programs will allow me to burn protected .wma files to CD. Napster's program won't recognise it so I cannot burn the files to CD.

Windows only recognises it as a DVD drive but I am convinced it is definately a burner as it says so on the drive. (Has the CD rewritable logo and DVD rewriter logo)

Any help would be excellent.

Cheers
