Problems with audio on DVD movies

  BMott 00:16 22 May 2003

I am able to use the DVD drive on my Packard Bell PC for audio and data cds with no problems. However, when playing a dvd movie, the sound is constantly skipping (jumping? - not sure how to describe it!). Any suggestions?

Have you tried running a (Cleaning CD) through it a couple of times, they look the same as a CD but have a small brush on them. It may just be a bit of dust on the laser optic. J.

What is your PC spec? One cause could be if it is not fast enough.
