Problem uploading site NetFusion 8

Hi again,

We have pretty much finished building our website, and have tried to upload it. However once online, no images including buttons and banners are displayed, and only the home page is shown - all other pages come up as 'page not found'. A big problem - help!! I've trawled through the user guide and just can't see what I'm doing wrong, but it's obviously something! In the publish site view it all looks and works fine.

All help very gratefully received.
Cheers, PC

Post a link and we'll take a look. Sounds as though the links are pointing to the wrong place.

Hi, thanks for this. As we can't seem to find out how to upload the new site to a separate part of our webspace, we've been uploading it over our existing site. Do you know how we can do this so that you can look at it without it affecting our existing site? Sorry if this seems stupid!

And make sure - absolutely sure - that your assets folder contains the correct versions of all the required images, including buttons, etc.

Oh, and check the source path of each image on each page by looking in its properties. It's no good uploading it if the site code does not point the browser to the right image.

We've just uploaded it now, you can see it at click here
We are now checking what Ade H says. So far, after verifying all file assets in Assets, it keeps coming up saying 'this site is using files found in a folder no longer available. Please select the folder where the file is now located'. We haven't knowingly moved anything, and have done searches on our computer but they cannot be found. Help!!!!

We've now reuploaded our existing site as we need to be visible. We will try with the new one again later. We have now verified all files and deleted those which don't exist, but this doesn't seem to make any difference. And now, in the publish view it says for last remote publish, 'never published' - even though we uploaded it all. We've looked at the source paths of images and these seem to be correct ie they lead to the correct folder and file in our computer. So I'm now at a complete loss . . .help!!

Just to confirm -- the site that we can see at that URL at the moment *isn't* the one that your having problems with. Is that right?

Hi everyone - we think we've cracked it! It would appear we didn't properly publish the files to the remote server - ooops. Anyway the new site is now up there. Thanks everyone for all your help. Have a good weekend, Cheers
