I have 3 PCs all P4 and winxp pro with sp2.i have networked all 3 pcs
an 8port hub.I had used network setup wizard and setup Internet Connection Sharing, and even
everything was working perfectly main objective is sharing
over all my pcs.Now I have 2 broadband connections 1 from local cable
operator and another ADSL .My 1st problem is when i switch
between 2 connections I have to enable Internet Connection Sharing each
time. Now major problem which has started 2day is on the client pcs i am
being able to access webpages.I am being able to login to Yahoo messenger
but not access webpages. My server I mean where the cable modems and
hubs are directly conneceted, that is working fine but probs with the other
2 in the network.Plz advise. See i have got a lot of suggestions regarding
using proxy s/w but I want to know why it can't be simply done using Network
Setup wizard and Internet Connection sharing. If at all I shud be using
proxy u ppl plz tell the configuration in details. In this forum i think
some real wizards are there, if I wont get a solution from here what will I

Right.. basically

Dont Use ICS, and Dont Complain, Microsoft ICS and Firewall is pretty s*** to be honest.

Like you have been told, use a proxy on one machine and tell you other PC's to point to it. And trust me you will have them working in No Time.

Just because Microsoft includes somthing doesnt mean use it.

Recommended Proxy Programs are...

I thought ICS was designed to share 1 internet connection. The problem with accessing some web pages might be an MTU issue click here
