Problem Printing from IE

Really weird this one. Samsung 1260N Printer /vista / Fujitsu Laptop. Prints fine from other apps - eg Open Office, prints mpegs etc but doesn't print form IE.

IE goes thropugh the motions - you can select the printer (I removed all other drivers in case), preview and adjust the print for landscape or portrait - oto but click on print - and it doesn't.

Printer connected locally via USB, and connection to printer is fine- clicking on driver shows printer "ready", and printer settings can be changed/ other apps prints worked fine.

Suspect a config issue or perhaps a windows/IE setting?

Hope someone can help. This is driving me nuts as it means I can't print web pages or webmail.

Try turning off protected mode in IE7. In IE7 go to Tools > Internet Options > Security tab and untick the "Enable Protected Mode" option, you'll need to restart IE7 for the setting to reset.
