Hi....I own a nikon coolpix s200 that now is not working and it says 'lens error'. I took it to a photographer's who said that is to expensive to repair? He offered me to replace it with new model for 100£. Is that a deal or is better to fix the one I have? And wich is the new model code?
thanks a lot...

Why did you not ask him for the model number?
As far as I can make out your camera is worth less than a £100,is this it?click here(215).aspx?source=googlebase and I would imagine that any repair to the lens is likely to be expensive. So you have to ask yourself is it worth it.
I would go back to the photographer's and get the information from him then hit google before making an informed decision.
