Transferring some games from one machine to another. The Game Su Doku says it requires MFC71.dll so after a search confirmed it wasn't there I copied it from the other machine Both XP. Still said it couldn't find it, just the same after a restart.

What should I do next?

The dll file has to be placed in a specific folder.

Where did you place it?

I'm guessing here, but it should probably reside in the windows system folder.

Where did you copy it into in the second machine?

OK Fixed it

It needed MSVCR71.dll also, took it out of the other machine and all's well

Sea Urchin

Copied both from first machine C: windows>system32

Put both into second machine C: windows>system32

Did notice there was a lot of MSVCR.dll files pointing to various applications.
