Have you downloaded anything prior to this happening?

hello check mobo battery might need new one.try checking ide cables make sure they have not come loose. and maby this link might help.m.e wont startclick here
attempted to run fdisk but NO FIXED DISKS messageappears on screen. Help !!!
The first thing to do is to get the hard disk recognized in the bios. If it is not shown there it will not boot.Start the machine and keep pressing the delete button. This should bring up the cmos \ bios screen.Pick standard cmos settings and enter. You will then see entry's for primary master, primary slave, secondary master and secondary slave. Most of the time the hard drive is primary master, make sure all of these four settings are set to auto. Press esc to get back to the main screen and then save settings and exit.If all four are already set to auto post back.
Thanks for help, cause found to be knackered harddrive (FUJITSU)
